Union Pacific intermodal train I-NOLB (New Orleans to Long Beach) originated at the CSX <I>GENTILLY YARD</I> on the east side on New Orleans, and a CSX yard crew would deliver the train to the UP on the Norfolk Southern <I>OUTER BELT</I> at Marconi Drive. Here is the train on the NS waiting for a UP crew, with CSX B36-7 5922 and GCFX SD40M-2 3079.

This hook-up of engine and eleven hoppers of ballast will head out Monday morning toward Noble, IL, where track work is being done. The fugitive at right says it belongs in the bowl at Osborn Yards, Louisville, KY. Why it is here I don't know.
I'm not sure to what railroad the grey/orange engine belongs to! The building stills wears the RF&P logo.
