Train 412 rolls through the south end of Bevier St, its run from Mohawk almost at an end. All that remains is to cross the Southern Tier at BD and yard across the river. The train will be worked and sent out tomorrow morning for an NS connection at Enola.
167 rolls west where the EL once had a center siding, as evidenced by the wide spacing of the tracks. It was removed shortly after CR took over EL operations.
Train 167 rolls west with 72 cars just west of Smithboro in a typically snow covered landscape.
CP train 167 rolls through a blanket of snow as it passes an open field west of Barton. This is near where the former LV Auburn Branch crossed under the EL on its way to Sayre. Youd never know it to look at it now.
Train 413 rolls north with a big train of 110 cars behind the usual mix of SDs, seen at Depot Hill Rd. This was a good spot for a photo, as it had good options on angle, it was pretty scenic, and was easy to get in and out of.
CP 412 has arrived at the south end of Bevier St, and is waiting for permission to cross the Southern Tier at BD and enter the yard.
CP 413 is coming around the corner as 930, shortly to become NS 30T, waits at the south end of Bevier St.

Train 413 has made its morning departure from Binghamton and now passes Depot Hill Rd in Port Crane as it makes its way to the tunnel behind the standard set of SDs in use at the time
Well not exactly. LIRR had some work done on several units at Super Steel Schenectady. They were routed home via a roundabout trip through Binghamton. Heres one trailing on 252, about to enter East Binghamton. This is probably one of the more unlikely combinations: SOO and LIRR lashed up.
Train 252 passes under Conklin Av and approaches the north end crossovers.
Train 412 was usually an overnight arrival at Binghamton. The winter weather must have caused some delays as we see it here arriving in daylight, an unusual occurrence. The matched power looks great in the sun!!

A ratty-looking SOO (x MILW) GP40 leads a freshly painted CP SD40-2 and a cab head back towards the Joint Agency after dropping a train off at Argentine. They're passing Santa Fe Jct and the Highline.
With two SD40-2's CP local 512 pulls past CP Horn to reverse so they can tie their power down.
Two SD40-2s head up a line of dead locomotives, wonder if they have the same fate.
