There's something for everyone: SD40-2's, including a BN patch; Warbonnets; a visiting CSX; and of course, Pumpkins. 2:12pm.
Nice set of power on the MEMGAL.. Sad part was the last 3 motors were set out at North Saint louis.
Its been swooshed but it looks decent in this paint..
Crossing the Delaware at the confluence of the Lehigh and Delaware Rivers. The entrance to the Morris Canal can been seen on the left (NJ) side and the entrance to the Lehigh Canal on the right (PA) side. The train is EB on the NS Lehigh Line main crossing the Delaware on the ex-CNJ bridge. The bridge to the the NS Portland Secondary (the iron truss bridge - ex-L&HR) can be seen in the foreground. The pilings for the demolished ex-Lehigh Valley bridge can be seen in the Delaware behind the NS main.
Another view of the mainy paint schemes
Lots of power with lots of paint schemes
After spending the past several years in storage at BNSF North Yard the call finally came to head to the shop for evaluation. This diesel has been in storage so long the blue plastic cap over the exhaust stack deteriorated leaving it exposed. Somehow this diesel avoided storage long enough to receive H3 paint. Note the missing horn.
This ex-Warbonnet Dash 8 pulls a load of piggies through the crossing heading west.

The Galesburg doesn't dissapoint, nor does it usually, with this great lashup.
An eastbound BNSF freight waits in the rain for Amtrak's westbound Empire Builder to pass.
While driving up to Sandpoint this one sneaked up on us. We tried to catch it, but to no avail. Sweet lash up though.
Too bad BNSF lets their warbonnets get like this. Shouldnt have chopped off the top of the globe.
The old Santa Fe dash 8 rolls across Broad St.
Since I gre up in New Mexico, Ill always have a soft spor for Santa Fe.
The DPU crawls past, locos in idle.
Headed alongside Historic Route 66 on the BNSF Cuba Sub. was BNSF Train Q LACSTL3 19. Nothing like double stacks on ex-Frisco Jointed Rail.
