BNSF 5824 more covered hoppers in the push to clean out#all the grain storage facilities of the 2013 late to export terminal shipments on the BNSF docket while the harvest is in full swing trying to fill them with 2014 wheat.
Sometimes it feels like BNSF is taking over around here. The daily empty oil train had these four engines for power today. They are pulling up to switch tracks and head into the middle of the yard. The train would leave a lot later.
This ES44AC was one of four engines to come in on K055. Now the power is going to be put away in the yard.

I had the brightness setting on my Olympus digital point and shoot set of 0.07+; the result is I got the humid hzae hanging in the air along with the green signal and the glow of the setting sun! The train is the Northtown-Lincoln which had a special load this evening.
The Northtown-Lincoln freight heads for the setting sun as the train rumbles along the Wayzata Sub in Long Lake. Note the ex-BN rebuilt GP30 --now a GP39E-- sandwiched between the first two units and the QTTX flat car bearing a special load.
