Parked by the Branner Trafficway bridge, with a convenient sidewalk for viewing!
The old ATSF office in the background has been recently rebuilt into a Senior Living home.
Power from a Northbound train that we missed is at BNSF's 17th Street Yard sitting in the downpouring rain
A rare locomotive was at BNSF"s 17th Street Yard, a NS GP59 was in the consist of a BNSF Northbound train. It was joined by a former BN SD60M, a Oakway SD60, a former BN GP50, and a former AT&SF GP60M
BNSF 5925 East has the Grand Rapids Turn Power are at the front and their cars at the end, this is lead by a GEVO as it met BNSF 9717 West
BNSF GP50 3140 (ex-BN 3140)
Only on the BNSF! The UP unit is actually a leaser now, I don't know who.
What's better than one GP50? Obviously two!... http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=229470&nseq=0

Kinda crappy pic, but you gotta love that cascade green.
GP50 idling on the tail end of a work train. Found this guy sitting in the siding in Downers. There was another BN GP38? on the other end
I left due to the Line Being closed due to a Bomb Scare at NPV
Sure would have loved to see this one on lead :-)
