Trailing on ZYCEG
Built April 2005.
OR 206 at 0948.
A mixer charges east at 0941.
UP 2010 leads a WB stack with NS 4004 and NS 9307 trailing
A southbound manifest rolls off the line from Little Rock, past the Arkansas Railroad Museum (check it out), and heads towards the yard for a crew change.

My very first Union Pacific locomotive photographed, an Ace, no less!
Both NS units were running. The UP was offline.
Rough looking ACe.
UP 8353 in second place head-end pulling power on mixed freight going through Connell - with another unlikely pairing of UP-BNSF units (at least they have their backs turned to each other).
BNSF 8259 - UP 8353 pulling around the bend into Connell proper with long string of mixed freight behind angling to the north as she leans into the curve... and weed-patrol at the exact wrong moment appearing moments before. At least the lighting was blah, otherwise Id have had a conniption about the bad timing for the glaring white truck.
This year, NS 156 has at least had power from every Class 1 Railroad in North America. Today, theyre heading north towards Linwood with a pair of UP units.
25T tears westbound at CP West Lang as they start their journey with NS SD40-2 3417 in command, with UP SD70ACe 8353 and NS C44-9W 9693 trailing. It was a surprise to see the usual C Yard shifter on the point!
This ACe shows signs of a broken Air conditioning unit, I think theyll be happy to get to Tucson
