Five units lead this 13T in the gloom of a December afternoon, approaching Hiawatha Rd. It's an interesting power set: four older GE's, including a C36-7, and a GP 50. Ten years prior, this would be first string power.

NS P61 crosses Third Creek on a beautiful Carolina November day.
A late running P61 heads west through Salisbury on the westbound main with four old EMDs in charge. The top of Grime's Mill can bee seen above the 3459, but sadly it was destroyed in a fire a few days later. It was always a nice backdrop for photos of trains on the Asheville mainline.

The Charlotte turn heads back south with four old EMDs giving it all they got as they pass the fall foliage at Five Row.
NS P61 roars upgrade with quite the electic mix of older power, which includes two GP50s and a former Oakway SD60.
