PNWR SW1500 #1552 with the Dawson local near Alpine Junction on the Lower Westside Branch
Having recently traveled across the country from Oregon, these two switchers are now working in Pennsylvania.
Making the crossing in downtown Porters.
On one of their first days working in Pennsylvania, these Portland & Western switchers move rolling stock from Smiths Station to York.
Reverse move complete; time to throw the switch and head south.

1552 leads the PNWR Corvallis Local at milepost 685 near Airport Road crossing on the Lower Westside line.
The Corvallis Local approaches the north end of Dry Creek siding, just south of Airport Road crossing, on the Lower Westside branch.
1552 just shoved some woodchip hoppers onto the siding, so now it's time to go forward again and then connect to the manifest on the mainline (at right).
