The Springfield Terminal #26, ex MEC, is seen as the trailing unit behind the B&M 690 passing the DeAnjou farm
Inspecting our power in the fuel plant at the CSX Dewitt yard. There are more foreign locomotives here today than CSX power, 8 NYS&W which included the entire B40-8 fleet and 2 Guilford units.
Seen at Rigby Yard.
Engines headed to Hornell for work.

Unknown photographer.
A former IT SD39 690 and a former RDG GP39-2 7417 share the fairly new engjnehouse at Conklin with an unidentified D&H C420 on 11MAY1986
This was my only time seeing this unit which was a replacement for an SD26 that was wrecked. Date is a guess.

Much as I hate to say it, the power in a complete set, fresh paint, and clean actually looks decent. Here we see BUME rolling slowly north against the grade as it passes Phelps St
A matched set of Guilford power rolls over the Harpursville bridge with BUME.
A B&M GP40-2 leads this westbound train out of Conklin yard as seen from the Conklin Av overpass. The trailing unit is notable, as it was one of the three ex Illinois Terminal SD 39's Guilford acquired from NS.
at Lowell Tower
Canned at the tower as the sun fades away.
Old SD39 seen at Rigby Yard. It had just arrived on an eastbound freight and power was parking on Track 217.
A eastbound sits canned at the tower with a true pair of oddball units. Sadly, both have since met the torch.
A inbound rolls past the tower and the cannee 690.
A side shot of 690 canned at the tower
