Burlington Northern Railroad Class C424 4243 at Cicero, Illinois on an unknown day in September 1980, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Built by Alco in June 1964 ( c/n 3381-04 ) as Spokane Portland & Seattle C424 303, it became BN 4243, and was retired in August 1980. However, it was sold at an unknown date becoming Massachusetts Central 4243, and later Adirondack Scenic 4243.
