Old BN GP28M Awaiting Disposition in Lordstown. Unit will likely be either parted out and scrapped or sent into leaser service like many other of the GP28Ms. Unit is still on site in 2026.
Can't tell if the far left one is BNSF 2656 or 2658.

Power in the engine servicing facility at Sioux Falls. BNSF 1531 was built as NP GP9 329, while BNSF 2282 was originally SLSF 427.
If it's still BN green you better shoot it......
A rainy evening in Osseo, and the crew of this train are nowhere to be found. My guess is they stopped for dinner at the McDonalds just across the tracks.

With two coal trains wait to go to MERC to unload, a pair of GP39Es are together and a GP38 - 2 with it's classification lights intact is paired with a GP28M in Lake Effect Snow
M-SUPNTW, daily manifest. these are the last 4 of the 6 units on the train, there is a KCS unit and an SD70Mac to the right.
I have never seen a geep smoke like that before!
