Where I go the RIP Tracks
2:23 pm. Under dark skies with rain ready to fall, NS GP60 7106 pulls east while doin` some switching work, activating the crossing lights and gate at New Line, in Morristown, TN. The double track is the Norfolk Southern “A” line (Bristol line) that runs from Knoxville to Bristol, VA. The set of tracks coming off the A line through the crossing is the start of the “S” line that goes to Linwood, NC.
