CSX Railroad (CSX) 8710 - EMD SD60

K869 molten sulfur train at SE Plant City. CSXT 8710 was originally SD60 demonstrator EMDX 4.

I ran across this interesting trio of locos at Annapolis Junction one Sunday. An SD40, 50 and 60 idling outside Jessup yard MD. These locos usually service the yard and the gravel business (Wimpy Minerals at one time) nearby.

A southbound CSX grain train, consisting of all CSX covered hoppers, passes through Glendale, Ohio, as snow begins to fall on February 12th, 2015. Power for this train is ES44ACs 3175 and 956, as well as SD60 8710.

This shot has not been possible for the last 4 years due to massive flood damage at this location

The newly reopened Lock 10 painted its tie down piles the exact colors of CSX! The train has 6 locomotives pulling east
