BNSF 2425, ex ATSF EMD GP30, now equipped and working as an RCL (Remote Controlled Locomotive), at Murray Yard in Kansas City Missouri

NARS Conductors Class Students in Week 4 of the program switch cars at BNSF Chigger Yard.

A conductor class from the National Academy of Railroad Sciences goes about switching exercises at what is known as "Chigger Yard" in Lenexa. At this time, 2425 is the only active actual GP30 on the BNSF Roster.

BNSF power assigned to the BNSF Traning Center, and the National Academy of Railroad Sciences.

Approaching BN Interlocker is a local bound for Lenexa, KS with a nice consist.

This is currently the only active GP30 on the BNSF. This locomotive is based at the BNSF-NARS-JCCC Facility at Lenexa, KS.

A nice set of engines get ready to pull out of BNSF 19th Street Yard headed for Lenexa.

The BNSF power assigned NARS, the company training center rests at Lenexa Yard in between class sessions. Not a bad little consist.

These are the locomotives currently assigned to Conductor Trainee Students at the National Academy of Railroad Sciences at Johnson County Community College.

When the students of the National Academy of Railroad Sciences enter the "field training" phase they come here and train with these locomotives.
