A southbound grain train approaches the diamond for the ex EL at Marion running on the ex C&O. Both lines are now CSX, but the EL line is actually part of the ex NYC, which had joint track through here with EL as-part of its Big Four route to Indianapolis. Note the cut outs on the pilot of 8866; they have been modified to run in the third rail territory on Metro North south of Croton Harmon on trains to Oak Point Yard in the Bronx.
Q418 has a very interesting lash-up today.
In the scrapyard I spotted 4 EMD cabs, the left 2 from CSX 8871 and CSX 8866, both Ex-CR SD40-2's, and another pair from some scrapped San Luis & Rio Grande engines.
Q621, the daily Selkirk to Montreal train, passes underneath the bridge at Lock 12.

The fifth unit on 417, and the third of the ex-CR diesels to Camden. They will probably see a mix of duties to perform, such as locals around south NJ and switching moves.
With two GEVOs and a trio of standard cab, ex-CR EMDs(all in different colors) lead Q417 through FJ towards Camden.
