Taken from LIRR train.
The shuttle from Port Jeff to Huntington makes its stop at Kings Park
An eastbound Port Jeff train rolls past the station at Bellerose with an MP 15 keeping the heat on.
Train 4012 was used to run parlor cars back to the east end, note the red stripe cars ahead of the MP 15-hence the long train. Power pack equipped 169 takes up the rear as the train passes Bellerose on its way to Montauk via the Central Branch.
By this time, not all trains had FAs for train power. LIRR had converted some MP 15s so they could be used to supply hotel power to the trains. Here is one such, rolling east toward Oyster Bay
An eastbound has cleared the interlocking at B tower and is now on the way to Farmingdale and eventually Ronkonkoma
LIRR 169 brings up the rear of an eastbound at Queens Village. Note the "P" below the number indicating it is set up to provide hotel power for the train.
After encountering snow drifts across eastern LI, the 169 heads west after a station stop
