AMTK #151
At 9:06 PM, roughly a half hour late, the California Zephyr came in for its landing at the Creston Depot. Thank you Lightroom AI Denoise for saving this shot! What a heck of a day this was too, Thirty-Eight more trains to add to the trip, putting me above the 100 mark at 112 total for the trip. I am definitely happy I decided to stick with the Ravenna Subdivision for a good hunk of the morning. I probably would have seen half as many trains if I would have went with my original plan. After Amtrak blasted off, I grabbed some Hardees for supper and went back to my hotel room. The rest of the youth group landed safely home right around 11:30 ET. What a great trip this had been up to this point. Creston to Ottumwa tomorrow!
