Stadler Rail is at the moment in full swing assembly to deliver 38 railcars to Arriva Achterhoek.
For test runs with full load, sandbags were brought in, sitting in comfort in the new 262 passenger arrangment... the railcar has a 75% lowfloor capacity.

Coupling devices of the GTW. The GTW DMU line fulfils the requirements of TSI PRM and the norms of energy absorption in case of a collision. Altogether four units of this railcar can run as a single train, each with 262 seating arrangement and extra wide seat pitch.

Arriva Nederlands has 2010 24 DMU-GTW 2/6 and 2/8 for the concession „Rivierenland-Achterhoek“ ordered. First vnit of the new batch was officially handed over on May 10th, 2012.
