Title:  Batesville Local
Description:  Batesville Local northbound approaching Papermill Road, a few miles north of Grenada. This was probably the best job to be on. They would go to work at 10:00, take their train 45 miles north to Batesville and return home, sometimes working 2 or 3 small customers, but somedays going straight there and back, usually getting off at 2 or 3 PM.

Title:  Batesville Local
Description:  Batesville Local is making up their train at the depot. This was probably the best job to be on. Description:  L523, lead by CN 9515 (GP40-2LW) and IC 9564 (GP38-2), passes the FOXY yard in Appleton, WI. In the background AP201 with HLCX 1048 (GP38-2) in charge, waits for authority to cross over the CNs Fox River Subdivision from the Kimberly Subdivision of the Foxy to the Appleton yard. An interesting note is that CN 9515 lead the last CN train out of Appleton yard before the FOXY took over earlier this year.
