Excellent angle to show the scene! Cool story, Brad.
I was working as an extra dispatcher on the CSX Tampa Division AC desk the Saturday the NS had their last move over this line. They were hauling a large transformer and I believe they needed to take down the signals at this crossing in order to clear the wide load. On your model board it always showed the intersecting NS line as a diamond. I had no idea that there were two turnouts involved! I never reviewed this terriory prior to marking up.
