Great catch!!! Which direction did this face? And did you see a 2nd unit around? I heard they got one to replace this old girl!!
i believe that spark arrestor is post-southern, this unit was one of the few used to cross youngs high bridge. sw1's still in service is a high number, super reliable and historic, not too many scrapped anymore. just as it should be.
Looks like a former Southern unit, lookine at the old paint scheme.
Hi Jd. The NW2 popped up when I entered the owner, but I believe you are corsect that it is a SW1. How many SW1 would be left still in daily service?
