For crying out loud everybody they were not scrapped they are still in active used as of when I'm posting this comment

Your source was wrong, they are not getting scrapped.
A lot of NS workers have told me these are crap to work on, said they had a lot of problems with them & they told me they were going to be scrapped, its sad, it really is but all we can do is hope they find something else to do with them
Scrapped? They were in regular service until the lease ran out. Aren't these good working engines?
