Fifteen of these were built by Lima in 1922 as a class H-6d with 63" drivers and developing 200 psi. One of only three preserved NKP 2-8-2's, this one was donated to Hammond, IN on 9/13/55 and is still there but in much worse shape. The photographer C.W. Burns noted on the photo back "One of the first engines given to a city for display. Now in sad shape, but are trying to fix it up. Also will fence it." August, 1970 reprint.
