CN local crosses Towmen Rd. as it heads southwest via former SOO rails at Shawano Junction, WI on 12 Oct. '17. Shawano Junction is in Fox Crossing, WI (formerly Town of Menasha, WI until 14 Apr. '16). This spot used to be named Fox River Junction, after several segments of the original C&NW main line through Menasha and Neenah were removed and a turnout was installed here which allows the bypass of missing C&NW rails by using former SOO rails. The tracks in the foreground are the crossover to the former C&NW rails. Train was returning from Shawano.
