"BNSF 4721 West, One Main, detector 137.3, no defects. 287 out."

All the Class 1 railroads treat defect detectors a little differently. CN's detectors on their ex-WC territory give an entrance and an exit message that includes the train direction and speed. CP's give an exit message only that includes the temperature, axle count, and track number (on double track sections), but not the direction and speed. They used to report the train length in feet, but this one currently does not. CP is also the only Class 1 railroad I've heard in Wisconsin where the crews acknowledge each detector report over the radio in the manner of the title.
