I wish NKP #624 will be send to be restored to operational again soon in the future!
I think it sad of the "City of Hammond" to let a gift from the NKP get so bad, I would hold them personally responsible!!!
Reminds me of how some of the 700 series berks lookled when they were sitting in the weeds at Bellevue, Ohio, in the early 1960's. Even the bell is missing.
