The 4301 was there that day with 4201 on a track maintenance train. The cop was actually from the Denville Police Dept. for extra protection on the crossings as the road was blocked for quite some time.

the 4300s are generally used for work train and rescue service the NJT Police offecer is probably there to watch for idiot drivers running the gates
