Here's a shot you can't get in the mountains. The whole consist is displayed here as follows: UP 844, UPP 814, UPP 9336, UPP 6334, UPP 209, UPP 5714, UPP 5818, UPP 5480, UPP 5769, UPP 7001, UPP 5473, UPP 8008, UPP 7011, UPP 207, and UPP 203.

The "Idaho" brings up the rear of the excursion.

The Oklahoma Centennial Sooner Rocket operating as UP Train SWTEN 09 crests a small grade on the way from Wichita, KS to Enid, OK with a 14 car passenger consist in tow at about 30 mph. I don't think I could have asked for a better morning for big steam. This was the longest UP Passenger Train I'd ever seen, with 3 domes! Can't beat that!

The special passes over Grand Avenue in Haysville as it picks up a little speed. The engine wasn't fazed a bit by 14 cars and level track.
