Brookville BL15 rebuild #51 pushing wire train
SEPTA Flatcar 2203 with wire spools on the Wire Train.
After working up around Warminster Station, the SEPTA Wire Train moves west through Hatboro Station as they prepare to flag Byberry Road with SEPTA RL1A 61 leading the way.
SEPTA 2GS14B 70 leads the Wire Train slowly west through Woodbourne, about to stop and flag Woodbourne Road.
On the rear of the Wire Train is SEPTA's newest diesel, Genset 2GS14B-DE 70.
Wire and MOW equipment on the Wire Train.
At around 2 PM, an inbound SEPTA train ripped down the wires on Track one around Langhorne, an inverted a pantograph. The SEPTA Wire Train was dispatched out of Wayne Electric to fix this problem. Here, we see the wire train headed east up track two to Wood, where it will wait for the inbound SEPTA to cross over from 1 to 2. The Wire train will then head down to Langhorne. Anyways, on the head end of this train is SEPTA Camp Car 601, which is an ex NJT Arrow III, which is where the crew rides in, also used sort of like a cab car. We nearly missed this coming up because with the Leslie RS2M horn, we just thought it was a regular SEPTA!
