Burlington Junction expanded again, this time taking over a obscure little branch west of Clinton. Right now an industrial operation, they are running transload and waiting for Atlas Roofing's new plant to open.
Local KD70 is heading back to Davenport this Sunday, with something never seen in the backwoods of this line-matched KCS power.
CPKC local KD70 usually works the Eldridge branch on Sundays, interchanging with Davenport Industrial RR. The Obscure part here is the power-matched set of KCS. This was probably a first/last/only occurence on this branch. Here, they are leaving DIR for home rails on the return to Davenport.
