Description:  Date approximate. There were two Chicago Transit Authority 4000 series cars there: 4441 and 4449. This is car 4449 as indicated by the car number lettering inside on one of the end bulkheads. However, one or more of the numbered glass panels was 4441 creating some confusion. The other full view car in this album is the actual 4441. To the left is the end of Pennsylvania RPO 6510.

Description:  Date approximate. CTA 4449 car interior. I had some confusion about this car because at least one of the window panes with the car number is 4441, but while the paint has come off the bulkhead visible in this photo where the car number normally is on the interior, it has 4449 on the other bulkhead. Also, another car in this album with 4441 showing on its side glass plate IS actually 4441.
