Holcim Switcher Awaiting its Fate
Title:  Holcim Switcher Awaiting its Fate
Description:  The Holcim Company closed its Clarksville MO plant (at a siding called Dundee for years by the railroad, based on the original cement company's name-even if the town with that place name is south of the Missouri River in Franklin County). The plant had at least three switchers; an SW1, GNAX1, is now in Colorado and a centercab GE seems to be missing. The newer EMD switcher still sits in the plant awaiting its fate with no number or reporting marks visible. It's supposed to be the former Waterloo RR no2, an SW900 buillt in 1957 that reportedly arrived here in 1983. It's received a new prime mover along the way- presumably a Cummins of some variety.
