This is one of the later 2-8-2 Mikados built by Alco-Schenectady in March of 1923 as Missouri Pacific #1470. It served for nearly 28 years before being scrapped ion 9/21/1954 at the North Little Rock, AR, yard. No date was give for the photo so an approxiamte one was used.
