Album Info:The Sunday after Thanksgiving is always a heavy traffic day for the North East Corridor. Amtrak typically runs extra trains. This year New Jersey Transit and MARC equipment made appearances as well as some infrequently seen Amtrak consists. The weather was great. Fog in the morning burned off resulting in a mostly sunny day in the 60s. The northbound view looks up nearly 2 miles of track towards Delaware and the southbound view looks towards Baltimore across the Susquehanna River Bridge. The speed limit across the bridge is 90 mph. Northbound trains sound a whistle as they approach the south side of the bridge in Harve de Grace. During the 7 hours I was at the station 34 trains flashed past. This series of photos reviews some of the more interesting entertainment Amtrak dished up.
