NJ & NY North Hackensack Depot
The North Hackensack depot was built in 1895 to replace the Cherry Hill depot which had been destroyed by a cyclone. Modified over the years, it eventually became Jay's Fish Market, resulting in this trackside profile. The basic bones of the structure however remained intact. Sadly, this building burned to the ground shortly after this picture was taken. I really whish I'd shot a picture of this building with a better camera than my dad's 1936 vintage Argus Model A (hence the vignetting and softness)
