Two Units, Two Cars.  Contributor's Pick!
BNSF 2654, one of the road's "GP39-3s", leads GP28M 1515 and only a pair of cars as they split the levee at South River on the road's Hannibal Sub. The spur to the right leads to a pair of large fertilizer complexes operated by MFA and BASF. This train, out of West Quincy, would run at max track speed all the way to Louisiana for its days work.
