Here is an original photo of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #275, an L-1S (2-8-2) "Mikado" built in Juniata during February of 1917 and retired in June of 1950 after 33 years of faithful service. Note that the bell and the main driving rods have been removed in preparation for scrapping. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded.
