Northbound CP Manifest Train  Contributor's Pick!
An Ex-Mo-Pac, now ICE SD40-2 leads a CITX SD40-2 rebuild and a DME SD40-2 out of town, leaving the Truman Drawbridge in the distance on CP Train 577-09. Man this consist sounded great.

The ICE 6454 started life as MP 3228 in 9-76, and later became MP 6012, and was known as a SD40-2C on the MOP, C for coal, as these were in pool service with the BN and DRGW, and were equipped with dynamic brakes, rooftop rotary beacons, some had MARS lights on the nose (this one did), and were ballasted heavier than standard MP SD40-2s. It later passed to the UP and went onto the ICE in the 90's. Looking good for a 35 year old engine.
