Brent Jackson	General	Probably Peen Central. Amtrak had a lot of problems trying to run trains through Indiana in 1974 and 1975, to the point they moved right off PC lines in favou of the C&O and L&N.	2/28/2006 9:55:42 AM

Brent Jackson	General	So, this is on the C&O, huh? In October 1974, wouldn't that be Chessie by then? The original Chessie System merger was in 1973. But either way, its no wonder Amtrak had to take over passenger service, the train looks as bad as the tracks! And how many lines went into bankruptcy in the 70s, Penn Central, EL, B&M, Rock Island, Milwalkee Road.....	3/2/2006 3:37:24 PM

Bob Lalich	General	The train is WB on EL trackage, about to enter the interlocking plant at State Line, at which point ownership of trackage changed to C&WI. The long lens makes the track appear worse than it actually was.	1/13/2008 8:41:35 AM
