CRR 4-6-0 #1 - Clinchfield RR  Contributor's Pick!
Known as "Old Number One" at the museum, this 4-6-0 was built by the Columbus, Chicago & Indiana Central Railway in Logansport, Indiana in 1882. It worked its way on several lines but eventually came back to the Clinchfield Railroad as a tourist train until 1979. Nice white face!

Fred Stuckmann General In 1975, we rode the Clinchfield behind this unit. It was set up to MU to a couple of F3B units. Great 2 day trip. 10/25/2012 7:55:37 AM
