Madden: This car was placed in sevice by Pullman on April 21, 1928, Lot 6125, Plan 3959A. originally named Crystal Beach. Air conditioning was added on June 18, 1934, and it was renamed Golden Beach on September 3, 1937. It was sold to the EJ&E on February 11, 1955. In a comment to Marty Bernard's photo of the same car Jerry LaBota adds: This car is a Pullman 3 Comp - 2 DR - buffet lounge observation, formerly Golden Beach, originally Crystal Beach. |
