FSW 4-6-0 #14 - Fort Smith & Western Ry  Contributor's Pick!
Here is a rare shot of a Fort Smith & Western Ry loco at the shops in Fort Smith, Arkansas, just 3 years before the line ceased operations. This was a small short line linking Fort Smith with Oklahoma City, OK to serve the bituminous coal fields in the Ouachita Mountains and to transport passengers between the two major cities. It ceased operations on February 9, 1939. I would appreciate any help in identifying the locomotive maker. The day in 1936 is approximate. T.W. Cassidy photo credit
