IC 3138  Contributor's Pick!
IC 3138 pulls a tank from General Chemical, near the foot of a water tower. This spur also used to serve Gilbert Paper, which is now torn down. The Gibert office building can just be made out at the top of the yellow handrailing. The large brick building to the rear is one of the Banta Corporation facilities in Menasha. After R.R. Donnelley purchased Banta, they closed this facility.

T. P. Bruss General Awesome, and rather rare, location. I really appreciate the contextual information. 4/14/2014 2:52:51 AM
Bob Kalal General Hello Richard, you have some great photos in your collection. Thank You so much for posting them. You have photos you took in Menasha that I really like, especially the ones around the General Chemical plant. Wondering if you live in the area or just travel there once in awhile. I'm wanting to model that industry & would LOVE more photos of the building. I got some great shots off the RR webpages as well as Flickr, Google Earth, Google, Bing etc. Just looking for more. If you can help, that would be great. Thanks Again. Bob Kalal k.kalal@comcast.net 4/14/2015 4:43:05 PM
