Ted Brumberg General The car on the left is the GENERAL JACKSON, which was built by Pullman-Standard in 1942 as a 3 double bedroom-1 compartment-1 drawing room (3DB-1C-1DR) sleeper-19 seat club lounge, 1 of 2 such cars (the other was GENERAL BEAUREGARD) built in Lot #6671 to Plan #4101 for the PANAMA LIMITED. The car on the right is baggage-express #755, 1 of 18 such cars (#755-#772) built in 1921 by Pullman in Lot #4616. Both cars were sold to private ownership and located next to the GM&O Shore Line District (now the St. Tammany Trace) in Abita Springs, LA, as seen in this photo taken by Mike Palmieri: http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=1708304. Iowa Pacific acquired these 2 cars in 2012 after the #755 suffered fire damage in 2011; the cars were moved from Abita Springs to Alamosa in early 2014.
