Westbound extra  Contributor's Pick!
This westbound extra train snuck through Mineola in the teeth of rush hour, something that was very unusual on the Long Island, where only about 10% of their revenue was from freight. It was not uncommon to see freights on some of the lines in Chicago, where they were not shy about mixing a 100 car train in with the "dinkies"; It was almost unheard of here.
