#800028 BATON ROUGE         
Built in 1956 by P-S in Lot #6968 to Plan #4198A as SAL 11DB sleeper #75 TALLAHASSEE, 1 of 6 such sleepers (#70-#75) built in that Lot, which was ordered in January 1955; cars were delivered between December 1955 and January 1956. These 6 cars were renumbered to SCL #6100-#6105, the #75 as #6104, and were sold in 1971 to Amtrak #2230-#2235; the #6104 as #2234. The TALLAHASSEE was retired in November 1977 and sold to John Brigham of Plano, TX. The car was later acquired by the Starlight Rail Company and renamed BLUEBONNET. AOE acquired the car and reconfigured it to a 9DB crew dormitory, and changed the name back to TALLAHASSEE.
