PRR 5715 in an engineer's safety training film about a fire in the turbocharger  Contributor's Pick!
Dad was track supervisor on the PRR's Middle Division in 1953-54. This is a movie train - the PRR safety department wanted to produce a film about the hazards of a fire in the prime mover, and this section of the Middle Division is where they chose to do the shooting. Dad's track crew placed ballast rock-by-rock to achieve that perfect line of the grey stone ballast against the older black cinder ballast. Note the black charring on the grille behind the engineer. This is where the movie crew set a fire as an movie effect.
