| an 891 train waits on the Buffalo Runner for a new crew to take it west to Buffalo on the Tier. Appropriately, the train sits next to the old D&H station. The second unit is noteworthy: it was one of the EMD 645 test beds back in the 60's, from the program that developed the prime mover that eventually was used in several thousand EMD locomotives over the next 15 years. |
