| Chicago & North Western Railway 4-6-0 Class R-1 1385 a little west of Geneva, Illinois on September 8, 1982, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. I'm not certain, but I believe that the cables between the steam locomotive and diesel allowed the Engineer in 1385 to control the diesels. Anyone know for sure? What little I could find so far states it was an EMD supplied control stand. |
