Long train for winter  Contributor's Pick!
Train 4012 was the mid day Sunday Montauk train, and usually ran long, as it was used to position equipment to accommondate returning weekenders. In winter it had no parlors, but could still run ten cars. We see it passing the station as it runs full out for Hicksville and the Central Branch.
